Technoir
Technoir is a Melbourne/Naarm techno project built over many years through events, DJs and a community connected by the music. What began as a small gathering around a shared love of techno has gradually grown into a space where artists and audiences meet through rhythm, curiosity and sound.
The Technoir radio show extends that space in a different form; part mix series, part conversation. Some episodes feature guest DJs, producers and promoters sharing music alongside reflections on their influences and pathways through the scene, while others are solo broadcasts exploring sounds, ideas and moments from across the techno landscape.
Rather than focusing only on tracks, the show offers a glimpse into the people and perspectives that shape techno culture.
Technoir has always been less about spectacle and more about continuity; the slow building of a culture around sound, movement and shared experience.
