Midnight Request Line

Midnight Request Line is a monthly show wherein each episode a theme is devised and listeners are asked to submit song selections and voicenotes related to, and explaining the thematic throughline of their choices. The themes are broad in nature and open to interpretation, often drawing upon the links between people, places, memory and the music associated with them. As a result the shows often traverse an eclectic and esoteric myriad of genres, held together by the overarching theme of the episode. The show explores how music can act as a sort of roadmap for episodic memory and often exemplifies the connected emotions and sentiment of past experiences.
